原本僅是單純的甜柿果農， 憑藉著東勢優良的自然環境開始經營「柿外桃園農場」， 努力參與甜柿栽植研究活動，努力將甜柿栽培正常化、優質化，生產出有口碑的次郎甜柿和富有甜柿，從事甜柿產業的轉型開發，近年更成立「柿外桃園有限公司」擴大甜柿相關產品的研究。

The Shihwaitoayuan Company was originally a simple farm that grew persimmons. With the rich natural resources of Dongshih, the farm had expanded into a company which put much effort in improving the quality of sweet persimmons. The company had produced “Chiro” and “Fuyo”, two different types of sweet persimmon but both gained much public praises. The company had totally changed the future aspects of the local persimmon industry.
