Mei-Zhen Qiu, a master artist who specializes in traditional Chinese painting, combines butterflies and Tung flowers to represent the concept of “two hearts forever joined together”. The peony, which is a symbol of wealth and good luck, is also represented. By skillfully overlapping the edges of the cup, the artist creates an image of a butterfly.
