一般提到東方美人茶的別稱，最先被人提起別名的通常是膨風茶或白毫烏龍茶，使用其他別稱則較為少見，但為了呈現客家傳統茶山文化、客家與原住民遷徙交流的生活背景型態，決定以「番庄烏龍茶」為商品名稱，讓消費者在品茗的同時，也能一同憶起客家先民胼手胝足地開墾與生活情景，每一口茶香都蘊藏著先苦後甘的美好滋味，並期望將客家特有的番庄烏龍茶推薦給每一個喜愛品茶的朋友。

The commonly seen alternative names of Dongfang Meiren are Pong Fong tea or White Tip Oolong. The other alternative names are rarely seen.
