桐花紋果物淺盤
漆器文化由當年日本政府導入, 卻在台灣茁壯發展成獨一無二的「蓬來塗漆器文化」。時代變遷中,漆器文化亦逐漸在工業社會中銷聲匿跡,就在面臨此項技藝即將消退之際,這一群熱愛漆器的文化工作者開始思索如何將先人遺留的文化資產完整保留下來,並落實在當地形成一種觀光下的資產。就在這種對文化保存的使命感所激盪出的光與熱中,我們重見漆器文化無法消滅的光華再次地出現在南投。儘管漆器文化的捍衛曾歷經921的無情摧毀,但誓言不輕言放棄的決心,一如山林間的桐花,夾雜著客家人無畏艱難的精神,年復一年地展現生生不息的生命力,繽紛著這一塊客家人的土地。
The lacquer culture was first introduced by the Japanese government, but later in Taiwan it developed into an unique “Pon-Lai Lacquerware Painting Culture”. As time passed, lacquer culture gradually disappeared in the industrialized society. Just when this technique was about to faded out, a group of lacquer-lovers started thinking the ways to defend this ancient culture, at the same time making it a valuable local asset. Out of their passions and missions of culture preservation, the lacquer glamour shines again in Nantou. Despite the fact that earthquake 921 made a disastrous mark in the defending history of lacquer culture, the defenders hold fearless spirits just like the Tung Flower, and never gave up. Year after year, this spirit shines this land of Hakka with life and vitality.
