The concept of receiving a “divine answer” from a sacrifice in Hakka culture is the creative idea which inspired these two cups to be created. When placed together—with one facing forward and the other backward—the two cups form a “divine answer” image. A “divine answer” in the Hakka language is pronounced the same as the word “rising” in Mandarin, which means that one will receive a promotion at work and get ahead in life. The exterior package combines sketches of Yuqing Temple in Miaoli, which imbue the product with blessings and sense of recognition.
