杉林大愛的婦女們期能藉由在地植物染製及研習，喚起現代人對於客家先人智慧的傳承與追思，並涵養客家生活美學，進而將客家優美的文化透過藍染的技藝呈現來推廣，使客家文化在日常生活隨處可見，隨手可得。以代表客家精神的藍染布料，製作生活日常中所需名片夾，並結合在地客家精神代表花卉「夜合花」，突顯客家文化的傳統與新意。

The women in the Shanlin Township's Da Ai Village hope to make people remind of the Hakka ancestors and inheritance of their wisdom by dyeing of local plants and their lectures. In this way， the public may know the Everyday Aesthetics of Hakka people. The indigo dyeing techniques are used to promote the beauty of the Hakka culture and make it accessible anywhere. Indigo dyed fabrics expressing the Hakka spirit are used to create the business card holders which are necessary for the daily life. Combined with the the local flower “ Coco Magnolia” which represents the Hakka spirit. It highlights the traditions and new ideas of the Hakka culture.
