「陳記柿餅」係採用台灣生長之澀柿加工製成。澀柿分佈在海拔約500 公尺以下平地丘陵,常見有牛心柿、石柿和筆柿。當秋好月圓、金色陽光灑滿驕傲的九降風時,一場曬柿子的金黃色盛宴就正式展開了,陳記柿餅仍堅持手工捻壓製作,每個柿餅的生產流程,不論烘捏壓拿…,都出自於陳老闆的一雙手,真功夫是令老饕激賞,吸引客戶群的不二法門。
“Chens’ Dried Persimmons” are made with astringent persimmons grown in Taiwan. Astringent persimmons are cultivated in plains or hills 500 meters above sea level. The common ones are Bull Heart Persimmons, Stone Persimmons, and pen Persimmons. In autumn when the moon hangs high and round or the sun shines brightly, one can expect the coming of Jiujiangfeng (the September seasonal gale), which indicates the start of the persimmons drying season. Chens’ Dried Persimmons still insist on its manual hand-pressing production. Mr. Chen, the proprietor, personally does all the roasting, pressing, kneading and picking. Such is his authentic craft that draws in the gourmets and customers alike.
